Overview:
Join farmers, ecologists, and agricultural students for an immersive 7-day seminar. Learn organic pest management, shade-grown coffee techniques, and fair-trade cooperative modeling.
Eligibility & Registration Requirements:
* Open to undergraduate students, agronomists, and farming professionals.
* Candidates must submit a brief statement of purpose (maximum 300 words) and a reference letter from an academic or professional supervisor.
* Prior agricultural experience is recommended but not mandatory.
* Language Proficiency: Primary lectures will be delivered in Spanish with English translation headsets provided. However, to participate in the interactive field workshops, attendees must be able to comprehend intermediate Spanish spoken in the field.
* Health & Safety: Participants must provide proof of yellow fever vaccination if traveling from designated risk areas. Medical insurance coverage for international travel must be presented upon check-in.
